FAQ
Who is behind Cityflats?
How do I pay my rental deposit?
A rental deposit is a guarantee that you lodge with the bank in favour of Cityflats at the start of your tenancy. It is normally equivalent to one month's rent. You will get this money back after you move out (provided you have no outstanding amounts).
If you don't want to spend cash on a rent deposit, there is also the option of rent deposit insurance. This gives you the option of not having to block your money in a bank account for the duration of the tenancy agreement.
Are pets allowed?
Small pets are usually allowed in our rental flats. If you are planning to get a dog or a cat or if you are already the master or mistress of a furry friend, you should inform us in writing in advance so that we can authorise this.
For larger animals (shoulder height >40 cm) or exotic animals such as snakes, please ask us in advance. We will check in advance whether your desired home is suitable for keeping the animal.
Where do I wash my private laundry?
All our Cityflats houses have a modern laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers. They work via a prepaid system, which you receive when you take over your flat.
Where to put the waste?
Is bedding provided?
Your bed will be freshly made up on arrival, so you can jump straight in. A set of towels is also included.
Do I need to bring kitchen supplies?
The apartment kitchens and communal kitchens are already equipped with all the basics. However, if you're planning a multi-tiered wedding cake, you'll need to bring your own equipment.
Where can I park?
Can I store my bike?
Is everything included?
Utilities such as electricity, water and heating are included in the rental price. There is only an additional charge for the use of the washing machine. There is also a charge for the final cleaning.
Can I sublet my flat?
According to the tenancy agreement, subletting is only permitted with our consent. Please contact us if you wish to sublet your flat.
